I’m reading this to W, one of our very favorite Sonlight read alouds. He begged for four chapters today. I’ve been needing to give him more one-on-one time and this is a fabulous way to do it. Miss Agnes almost makes me nostalgic for my own school days….almost ;-).

Firstborn is continuing reading The Once and Future King. Today he built a shelf for stacking wood in our shed.

Sunshine and W have RK in the park across the street this afternoon, trying to get a kite going on a rather limp day. Sunshine wrote a hilarious story involving the “scary” Ups man and a dog, a window, and broken glass. Her phonetic spelling is just the best! So funny!

RK’s latest delight in life is in getting bags of tortilla chips and shaking them out all over the room. This is almost as fun as a tray of ice all over the room. Or broken glass all over the room. Or bags of rice….

We still haven’t read this one yet. I have to look and see if we can fit it in to dad’s reading schedule! I totally forgot about this one.
